How to Circle Crop an Image (Step-by-Step Guide)

August 28, 2025

Create a perfect circular image for profiles, avatars, or logos in seconds—no signup required.

1) Select your image

Click Select Your Image and choose a file. The tool supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. (You can upload up to the limit shown on the uploader.)

2) Position the subject

Drag to center the face or logo within the circular frame. The live preview shows exactly what you’ll get.

3) Adjust the size

Use the Zoom Level slider (or the +/- controls) to fine-tune the composition. Avoid pushing beyond what your source resolution can support.

4) Check edges and padding

Make sure nothing important is cut off and there’s comfortable space around the subject for a clean, modern look.

5) Crop & download

Click Crop & Download. Your image is exported as a PNG with a transparent background, ready for any light or dark UI.

6) Start over anytime

Click Clear Image to reset and upload another file. Process as many images as you need.

Good to know

  • Everything runs locally in your browser for complete privacy—no uploads, no accounts.
  • Works great on phones and tablets with full touch support (drag and pinch-to-zoom).
  • Transparent PNG output means no awkward white box behind your circle on websites or apps.
